Our Story

Tusky Ridge has been roofing and siding homes in Lancaster County since 2001. The name comes from a family camp on the Tuscarora Mountain ridge in Pennsylvania — a fitting name for a business that’s stayed close to home in every sense.

It’s still a family business in the truest sense. Daniel and his sons Paul, Marv, and Allen run every job together, alongside one trusted crew member who’s become family in every way but name. There’s no office full of salespeople, no subcontractors showing up in unmarked trucks, no layer between us and the work. The person who answers the phone is the person on your roof.

That matters more than it sounds like it should. When the boss is always on site, there’s nowhere to hide a shortcut — and nothing to gain by taking one. Every job carries the family name, which means every job gets the same care Daniel and his sons would want on their own homes.

We could grow faster than we have. We’ve chosen not to. Any addition to this team is someone we already know and trust — never someone “farmed out” to make a deadline. We’d rather stay small and do the work ourselves than get big and start subbing it out.

What you notice first might be the new siding, or the roof that finally stops leaking. The house will look fantastic, but what you’ll notice over time is something harder to put a price on, and what we’re really up to:

We’ll make a home that feels safe for your family, looks like it belongs to you again, and was put together by people who actually cared that you were proud of it.

That’s the job we do. Every time.
